TITLE: Corporate Lawyer
REQUIREMENTS: Master of Laws (LL.M.) or a Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an American Bar Associate-accredited law school required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Must hold an active California Bar license. Must have prior knowledge through coursework or work experience of the following: mergers and acquisitions, contracts, securities regulation, and business associations.
JOB DUTIES: Advise on business formation, corporate structuring, and governance, including drafting and reviewing key documents. Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring compliance. Counsel on intellectual property, including trademark applications and IP agreements. Guide funding rounds, ensuring securities law compliance. Assist with M&A, conducting due diligence, and advising on transaction structuring and compliance.
SALARY: $122,000 per year.
